Having taken a few more weeks than I hoped, I’m happy to be releasing a small game called Money May Care.
Pass and play with your Android phone or share control of the mouse on PC with turn based strategy title centered around viruses and treatment. You will be taking on the role of a pharmaceutical company looking to invest in medication to help alleviate the symptoms and halt the progression of several horrible diseases.
Make your money by investing in the viruses that will grow the most. Battle against your fellow players to dominate the market and see you can earn the most when a virus is eventually cured.
Available for free on Android & PC. No ads or IAP.
It has been over 2 years since I’ve said this but today I’m releasing a new game – woohoo!!!
A fair revamp of the prototype from 2013, Paint It Jack is a simple and easy going arcade game about bringing a splash of colour to your day, all for the very affordable price of absolutely nothing!
Jack’s kind, Squibbles, have a love of colour and can absorb paint to colour themselves however they wish. It is a fashion statement. It is a cultural statement. Except for Jack. Poor old Jack can’t retain any colour and found verself leaving the world around ver in a blaze of vibrant colours but Jack was as dull and grey as the day ve was born. Jack is on a mission to using vis gift to colour the dull grey world they ve lives in.
The game revolves around picking up paint and colouring your path and objectives throughout the level. There’s some critters that wander around, cleaning up your paint along with some that want to take a nibble out of you.
Paint It Jack is an easy going game to play and is suitable for all ages.
I’ll hold my hands up and say that the currently released version doesn’t contain all planned content (I had loads of ideas!) and really needed an art & audio pass but its shipped and if people like the game, or at least would like it if I did more work, then get in touch and I’ll take a look!
I got given loads of codes with my Xbox 360 releases, however as found the experience of contacting review sites to never hear back just depressing and not worth the effort, they have went unused.
Until now I’ve occasionally thrown them up on Facebook and Twitter but I figured that as I’m happy giving away most my games for free, why not make my Xbox games available to folk for free – especially those visiting the site.
I’ve created a new page that contains a few codes for each of my games.
Unfortunately I have no way of tracking whether codes have been used so if anyone finds themselves out of luck with codes available for their game of choice, give me a shout on Facebook or Twitter and I’ll provide you with a unique code and replace the codes on here.
If you enjoy your free game then sharing it with your friends, Facebook feed or Twitter followers would be great!
Below are my first round of codes:

I am delighted to announce that I have released a new game on Xbox 360 and also PC called Adventures in Text!
Adventures in Text provides a series of multiple choice text adventures that can be played with friends, including quick quests and also the longer quest through the world of Aeski.
How does the multiplayer aspect work? Well get your friends together when playing through the quests and together you can vote on which answer to take although you’ll want to discuss decisions first. If you fail to agree, the game will pick for you!
Additionally there are also three quizzes included to challenge your knowledge of Halloween, games and the world.
Available on Xbox Live Indie Games for the lowest price point (69p / $1).
Also available on PC for FREE!!! Xbox controller (or equivalent) still required on PC.
Aeski quest begins
p.s. Please do not resort to violence when debating answers.
Invertical Touch will see you switch your colour between black and white, opening up new routes. Can you find the portal home?
I’ve been very proud of my work with Invertical Touch so when friends ask if they can have a play of the game on their Android phone or whether I have it on my phone (Windows) it feels odd to say “no”. Building for Android and Windows Phone 8 is nice and easy with GameMaker so it isn’t a technical limitation, just there’s no plans for release of a paid version on these platforms.
However I’ve decided, well why not share the free version so yeah, I’ve released Invertical Touch Lite on Windows Phone 8 and Android! Whether we’ll see the paid version or not, I can’t say (not my call) but be sure to download the game and give it a go.
There’s about 15-30 minutes of gameplay, depending on how quickly you get to grips with the game with a variety of chapters to play.
You can now try out Invertical Touch for free on iOS with the new release of Invertical Touch Lite.
Qube is searching for the portal home and in this shortened version of Invertical Touch you will be exploring a castle, deep underground and more with plenty scrolls and books to find along the way. Qube is no ordinary explorer though. He can change his colour between black and white, changing which walls he can walk on or walk through. Inverting your colour turns a dead end into a new route and the tunnel into a platform to walk on.
Can you avoid the traps and danger and the find the route home?
Can you find the route to collect all the scrolls and books?
I am pleased to announce that my first Windows Phone 8 game is now available on the Windows Phone Marketplace.
Living in the land of Treat is wonderful. There’s cakes, chocolate and ice cream in abundance. Unfortunately getting around isn’t all that easy. Sometimes the only way is to switch to the Trick dimension where ghosts, skeletons, witches and other evil characters are out to get you.
Trick or Treat takes the unique inverting gameplay of Invertical and giving it more than just a new Halloween. You’ll be exploring your way around unique levels with a trick world full of nasty creatures and objects that can hurt you with a spooky yet charming theme, whilst the treat world is bright, cheerful and full of wonderful items to collect.
Get it on your Windows Phone 8 device for free!
A new update should shortly be available for the Android version of X-Orbtek. There have been a number of improvements to gameplay and stability but the one you’ll spot first is that the game has been renamed to X-Orbtek Free. Have a quick look through the changes:
- Renamed to identify it as a free game.
- Music has been changed to Deceased Superior Technician’s Psykick.
- Fix for issue where game could hang when player was near borders.
- Spawning improvements to get the game to try its best to spawn orbs, enemies and powerups in clear space when possible.
- Improvements to the “Stalker” movements.
- Border around the game level should now show correctly.
- Balancing tweaks.
- “Invite” button added to Scoreboard.
- Minor UI fix on Scoreboard.
- Theme is shown as locked in the Options. Previously this information was hidden.
You can now play Invertical for free without going through Steam Workshop with a new version has been released on the Oxygen Addict site!
The free version contains loads of levels (although not as many as the full version!) with several hours of gameplay and even boasts new improvements such as different control configurations, including use of a game controller, and an improved progression system where you must collect the books and scrolls to unlock new levels!
I hope to bring these changes, along with further improvements, to the full version in the coming weeks!
X-Orbtek now available for Android
The free version of X-Orbtek has been made available for download. What is even more exciting is that you can get it for both PC and Android! This is the first Android release by Oxygen Addict and it plays just as well as the PC version. The game is well suited to mobile phones / tablets with its short bursts of gameplay.
If you aren’t familiar with X-Orbtek, it involves collecting Orbs before they disappear whilst dodging enemies. What really makes the game is pushing you to get highscores, which is why it got a positive write up by Wrathkai and made Games Shrine’s top games from 2012!
Battling for highscores on a mobile phone
The Android version is currently only available as an APK install. This is easy enough with a USB cable, or just download from your phone! Instructions are on the download link or read this – http://www.talkandroid.com/guides/beginner/install-apk-files-on-android/
